Worcester Bosch Boiler Installation and Grant Boiler Installation

Premier Heating carry out boiler replacements around the Guildford area within Surrey, we install the best boilers currently available on the market and the materials we use are of the highest quality to ensure the best possible reliability is achieved.

We are accredited installers for Worcester Bosch boilers and Grant oil boilers. This means our engineers have been on manufacturers courses to ensure we install the boilers correctly. It also means that we can offer better warranty periods than most other installers.

Before we install a new boiler, time is spent on a survey to establish what other works are required to help improve the efficiency and also reliability of the whole system. We also allow for a full powerflush to get the existing systems as clean as possible. Most other companies will not do this properly, leaving harmful sediment in the system. This work may cost more initially, but in the long term will save you money on fuel and also reduce or eliminate costly call outs to breakdowns.

We also provide a full maintenance service to continue caring for your system and new boiler, carrying out annual servicing and dealing with any problems that may arise.

Old boilers can be in-efficient in the way they convert fuel to heat, with some being less than 70% efficient. This means that every £1 you spend on fuel about 30p can be wasted. Modern day condensing boilers are over 90% efficient and can therefore have a considerable saving on fuel.

Old boilers and systems also have a lack of efficient controls. When installing new boilers, current building regulations require various controls are added to improve the efficiency of the system, thus also having a saving on the amount of fuel used to heat your heating and hot water.

Both new boilers and controls work together in saving fuel. Condensing boilers save fuel when creating heat and the controls save fuel by using the heat from the boiler in the most efficient way.

How much could you save?

This will depend on how old and inefficient your existing boiler is.

Old boiler rating Annual saving Carbon dioxide saving per year
G ( < 70%) £310 1,200kg
F (70–74%) £205 810kg
E (74–78%) £155 610kg
D (78–82%) £105 430kg

These are estimated figures based on installing a new A-rated condensing boiler and full set of heating controls in a gas-heated, semi-detached gas heated home with three bedrooms. Information from energysavingtrust.org.uk.
