Premier Heating and Friends took on It’s A Knockout

  

On Saturday 8th June our team of 10 competed, against 8 other teams, on various challenges, all of them seem to involve getting wet one way or another! After several games of maneuvering over inflatable obstacles that use bubbles, foam & water our Team finished 2nd!

  

Premier Heating and Friends took on It’s A Knockout to help raise much needed funds for a local charity Cherry Trees.

Cherry Trees is a small charity providing home-from-home specialist short breaks for children and young adults aged 0-19 with a range of complex disabilities including learning, physical and sensory impairments.

So MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who helped raise much needed funds for Cherry Trees, together everyone achieved a massive £850!!!

Premier Heating & Friends take on ‘Its A Knockout’ for Cherry Trees

Cherry Trees is a small charity providing home-from-home specialist short breaks for children and young adults aged 0-19 with a range of complex disabilities including learning, physical and sensory impairments.

Cherry Trees is a unique place, providing professional care in a safe, stimulating and fun environment, where every child is valued for who they are.  It is a community that is dedicated to children and young people, enabling them to spend time with friends and enjoy new experiences and opportunities, while their families have a much needed break.

In order for Cherry Trees to continue offering this fantastic service it needs regular charitable funds.

As a local business we like to help with this fund raising, so Premier Heating and Friends are entering a team to compete in Cherry Trees very own “It’s a Knock-out”, taking place on Saturday 8th June at Shalford Park, Guildford. Based on the popular 1970s television show, teams will compete against each other on a giant wet-and-wild inflatable assault course to help raise much needed funds.

Overnight Emergency Water Leak?

As we are not a 24 hour company, we have teamed up with Phoenix Maintenance Services to deal with any urgent water leaks you may have during the night.

You can call Phoenix on 07393 644 644.

Phoenix will only be able to help you water leaks, so for any other problems (such as no heating) please call our office on 01483 234701 during normal working hours or 07850 145 589 on the weekends and bank holidays between 8am and 4pm.

Please be aware Phoenix Maintenance Services are not part of our company and therefore you will need to confirm with Phoenix their charges.

Job Vacancy: Heating & Plumbing Maintenance Engineer

Heating & Plumbing Maintenance Engineer Job Description              

Main duties to include, but not limited to, the following types of work:-

  • Carrying out annual boiler servicing
  • Completing Landlord gas safety inspections
  • Attending planned and un-planned urgent calls
  • Fault finding to boilers, heating wiring, systems and controls
  • Carrying out repair work to boilers and heating systems
  • Carrying out plumbing repair work

You will need to be able to work independently and also when required, with other Team members.

Be able to start and complete urgent jobs as requested with minimal notice.

Be willing to work overtime when required to complete urgent jobs.

Be able to understand, deal with and resolve problems as described by the customer.

Ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to give customer’s peace of mind.

The customers’ property should be treated with the highest most respect, at all times, laying dust sheets around work areas and wearing shoe covers where required. Ensuring work areas are as clean on completion, as they were before you started.

40 hours per week with an hourly rate of pay of £TBC
Weekdays & Saturday Overtime at 1.5x standard pay
Sunday & Bank Holidays Overtime at 2x standard pay
Weekend on call (approx. every 4-5 weeks) with £20/day standby fee
22 days paid holiday (plus usual bank holidays)
Company van, available for private use (charged per mile)
PPE, uniform and mobile phone provided

Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s)

As part of the job position we will be looking for the successful applicant to meet these KPI’s:

  • Jobs to be completed to ensure safety, reliability and efficiency
  • Jobs to be completed to ensure minimal call backs, of no more than 1 per 25 jobs
  • To have an excellent knowledge of fault finding and system wiring
  • To ensure all work is carried out to meet current regulations and current good working practices
  • To meet the Company culture and standards at all times
